New Patch Deletes Maps?

I just updated the game and all the custom maps I had on my comp are gone, both in the warcraft3 folder and in the maps folder in documents

ummm where did you get that information? Im surprised nobody else answered the OP here...

@OP - Blizzard decided to move the folder to your Documents\Warcraft III\Maps instead of C:\ProgramFiles\WarCraft III

Its rather annoying as I still play on older patch 1.26 for w3arena so I have maps and replays scattered all over the place now

I had a similar situation. Still can't get my JNGP to work

Troubleshoot:

1. Total uninstall
2. Restart
3. Use "Ccleaner"
4. reinstall using app, MAKE SURE BLIZZARD APP IS UP TO DATE

If you have maps with non US Unicode characters in them then they might possibly cause the patching process or game to error.
