I forgot to add some features, which I would think are pretty cool.

What about a shield system?
Or is that you'r health?

A shield system hey? Hmmm I'm trying to figure out how I would be able to do that...Sure, I'll add it to the features, but I can't guarentee that will be in, because yes the closest thing that looks likeit is your health bar.

A shield system is eazy just use ur mana not a health bar.

Permanent mana shield And use a trigger to check when to regain "shield" and not. You don't regain "shield" when taking fire or when totally drained right?

Add vehicles; scorpion tanks and ghosts. Tough a skilled modeler will be necessary.

Very true...It will be hard to find one, although for the rest I think it should be rather easy.

About the weapon change, you could upgrade or buy new weapons to your hero That would be nice.

But you don't do that in Firefight :S. My point is not to make an exact replica, but make it ressemble enough so that it has the same feel

In halo 3 odst you don't have shields you have adrenaline that protects you far less than in the older halo games, a fully charged plasma blast would almost kill you when you still have all your life after the shield in the normal halo games.

green ET is a CTF vs mode......... you want a mode where everyone is co op and taking on hordes right?

Thats what your asking for in your description *shooting where your character is looking*
Not an auto-fire game

Exactly, no automatic fire, more like fire at will

What about making an ability like Storm Bolt without stun to fire?

Well, notice that Storm bolt uses a unit point fire method, I'm looking something more like point/unit fire. So I think I would have to use 'Channel' for it.

That way you can use for example rocket launcher/assult with the same ability?

Not exactly, my intention is to make you be able to switch weapons. So let's say you have the AR and RL, you have a skill to shoot, and the other would be to switch weapons, than the shoot button would also "change" from AR rounds to the RL rockets

I have a gun system that is really nice just the only problem is it doesn't fly off edges (cliffs) but it doesn't go threw trees and such.

send me a PM if i could join your team if you go threw with the idea

I jsut checked that shield system, its not exactly what I was looking for in a shield system. In one of the previous posts, someone mentioned about using mana as the shield. IMO that would be better, because we can get an accurate percentage on how much shield that person has left.

Alright so it seems some people are ready to help and it seems people like the idea. I will take it you guys want to see it be done so I will make the map. I will post a thread on the project recruitement forum soon .

How about a Kustom Projektile System? That always work. Either that, or you can just do it the easy way. Anyways, can I join the project? I can host and give ideas.
