New Fight Engine

Do you remember that final fantasy game you had on snes :mrgreen:? Do you remember having hours of fun travelling on the map BUT SUDDENTLY :shock: ! The screen turn all black with white swirly thingy! OMG its a random encounter :x ! The point is im doing a map and there will be a revolutionary fighting engine to make your travel around my map just more enjoyable!
But im still guessing how to do it :lol: ? If you got any idea (event,condition,action)how this could be done let me know! Cuz a thousand region would'nt work!

That will be a battle system.
I will require very difficult triggers, variables etc... I am bad at triggers

Can you give an example of what you mean? What kind of system do you mean?

I think he means the battle system like in Hero RPG, Final Fantasy...

Hm, I know all FF Fighting systems. But doing them in WC3 would be hard trigger work, really hard :?

Well the fighting system would be that when a hero as a ramdom encounter he would be transported in a small area to battle the creep and to gain exp and did you said was good with trigger?

lol, i made one of them ages ago, where it takes you to a small arena where u use the arrow keys to select the units tou want to attack/heal, but i never used it in anything :lol: it works exactly like the FF interface

Hero RPG uses it.
Try learning it from Hero RPG.
