Basically I'm all for net neutrality, although I think very few countries have actually made legislation to enable it to some degree, it is still something thats mostly in the dark (more pressing matters to be taken care of in government lately). I'd prefer the internet service providers to not intentionally limit connections in P2P or websites that they don't agree with (such as those of other ISPs). I don't see why when I pay for a connection at X speed they only deliver X speed when it suits them. Although its in most cases not something to take notice of, its the principle of the matter that dissatisfies me.

If by net neutrality, you mean unrestricted access to websites, then YES.
And the speed only reduces over hee if theres a problem with the connection(which is like once in 6 months)

The government monitors and restricts internet websites because a lot of them cause harm while the people targeted never even access them. Such being illegal filesharing sites. The people harmed by their activities never even access them and still lose material property. Same applies to illegal pornography and other sites harming the basic human rights of others, not the person accessing it.

I don't agree with taking down "politically incorrect" sites or videos though. Freedom of speech should be allowed to everyone as long as they express an opinion and don't physically harm anyone with it.

I don't think Net neutrality can never be fully achieved but don't worry if they were to somehow kill torrents people would go to irc for their file sharing. If irc gets shut down then theres still private FTP servers and you would just have to look hard enough to find one.

Net Neutrality is a cause that advances itself, government attempts to control it often turn out feeble in any country that hasn't fallen into a state of highly oppressive government.

Such a free form of communication is something governments never had to deal with before, it's either adapt or fall victim to it, as the Internet's not going away any time soon.
