-Negative Stats

I was wondering how to make stats go down instead of up...

Example:

Fletcher's Gloves - Increase Attack Speed and Agility at the cost of 5 strength

STATS:
+50% Attack Speed
+10 Agility
-5 Strength

Could somebody help?
