Icey RPG
Beta name is Icey RPG, probably will change in the future.
Status: 17% Complete
Current Developers: Parrothead , Wet_water
Intro
Icey RPG is a RPG currently developed by Parrothead and Wet_water. We started the project about 3-4 months ago when he asked me to work on it with him. We have all the basic ideas for the RPG. Here are some:
1)The setting is located deep in Northrend where humans settled about 300 years ago and make a small town. This city later grew and became a city. This is where all the players will start out.
2)There will not be set skills for a hero but instead you buy and or find skills from monsters and equip them to your hero. There will be limits on what you can equip I.E. you cannot equip a fire skill on a water elemental and warriors wouldn't be able to gain spells as fast as spell casters but warriors can get more passive strength spells and armors.
3)You buy items with gold but you buy skills with essence points. Essence points are energy shards found and bonded together to form a skill. The skill is then absorbed by your hero and you gain the skill. There will be elemental wizards for each element.
4)There will be a weapon system limiting heroes from getting 6 swords and being complete dominance. There is only 6 inventory slots right now.
5)Heroes will be able to be customized alot.
6)There will be a save/load system so your hero work will not be forgotten.
7)There will be over 20 heroes, some using models and some not.

Now that you have the basic idea on what the idea is about, I have taken a few screenshots to show some of the terrain.

Development
Development for this map has gone a long way from the beginning. We have worked on it alot and we are not going to stop working on it. We will finish this RPG as I have commited to it.
Project Crew
Right now there is two makers, Parrothead and Wet_water.
Parrothead) He is one of the technical workers, he works on most of the gameplay mechanics. He has developed alot of the systems used in the project. He also works to lower the filesize as low as possible.
Wet_water) He is the lead graphics designer. He works on icons and skins for the map. He also is the lead terrainer in the project as Parrothead can't terrain for shit.
We Currently Need: A very experienced jasser, one who is very good and has time to devote to the map.
What The Jasser Will Do: The jasser will be in charge of the following. He will make alot of the spells for the game. He will also work on the items of the game. He will revise all triggers and make sure there at there FULL potential (no leaks, proper functions, no glitches etc..).
Requirments: The person must match all of the requirements listed. Any requirment with [X] in it means its optional. Any requirment with [O] is needed and you have to have.
[O]Knows jass to a good degree.
[O]Knows GUI to correct leaks.
[O]Is on and plays Wc3 often.
[O]Has some communication besides wc3. (x-fire or email)
[O]Has time to devote to the project.
[O]Knows how to fix leaks.
[O]Very organized on there work and not sloppy.
[O]Knows good English (sorry but not having good English will make it very hard to do this project)
[O]Is a nice person and knows when to be serious.
[O]Has at least 30 reputation points on the hive. (Not from rep partayz)
[O]Has at least 100 posts on the hive.
