[AoS] Requiring JASSer (Scripting Started)
I'm in need of a triggerer for my map. It is an AoS map which I have been working on with a friend, but unfortunately he became very busy lately and doesn't have time to finish the work. He started triggering, but obviously couldn't complete the job.
The map is unique in a few aspects. First of all, there is a heavy focus on Player versus Player interaction as well as timing and positioning. There are absolutely no percent chance or "luck" skills involved. Everything the player does is deliberate. Although the belief behind the map is to focus on rewarding players for good decisions, a balance is being maintained so that the map can be played by both competitive and casual gameplay, but it is originally suited for the former.
The map also has a few relatively unique systems to set it apart. The heroes start with an innate level of all three of their regular skills at level 1, in order to not only speed up the gameplay, but to eliminate any early game "leveling". As a result of this, the hopes is that the gameplay will be faster from start to finish. With a maximum level of 20, and 6 levels of the regular skills (1 innate, 5 upgradeable) and a 4 level ultimate which is acquireable at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20, the map definitely has an emphasis on maintaining a quick pace for constant action.
Several different "arenas" for the map are also planned as well, with only one currently having its structural mainframe constructed. The arenas are meant to be different sizes as well as have their own unique aspects, whether its the lane positioning or some unique teleport system throughout it.
Steps have also been taken to prevent physical damage heroes from being useless early game and intelligence heroes from being useless late game. With the removal of any luck-based abilities like critical strike, the addition of "magic potency" (an alterable attribute that affects how powerful your spells are), and so forth, we hope to keep ALL heroes useful ALL game long.
That being said, a few unique shops are being looked into as well and we hope they will be implementable. For instance, a "trainer" shop where you can buy an extra level of your ability at a large cost, a "spell" shop where you can cast a global spell of some sort to aid your team, such as creating a defensive matrix around your base or calling down a siege upon your opponent's, and the general shops like items and mercenaries.
Essentially, this is a 2-person project and all I am in need of is a triggerer to help me bring this into fruition. I have been in charge of the data input, graphic design, gameplay, balance, terrain, and everything else.
