Need help with reforged texturing issue

I've recently started looking at retexturing in reforged. While I understand the basic concept and have it working in Retera's model editor, when I go to import it in the game, it has a weird dark tint to it, which disappears when you zoom closer.

Am I doing something wrong, and does anyone know what it is?
