Hi guys,

I am making a map and was wondering if any1 knew how to give it a red overlay on the screen that stays. In other words, make the screen transparently red (Kind of likee a 'back-up power' feel). Does any1 know how to do this? I'm so lost. :vw_wtf:

Also, i keep trying to import music into the map as an mp3 file but it just wont play :ogre_rage: any1 have any ideas?

Thanks guys :)

For the red overlay, I am not sure but try this out:

  • Cinematic - Apply a filter over 2.00 seconds using Normal blending on texture White Mask, starting with color (100.00%, 0.00%, 0.00%) and 100.00% transparency and ending with color (0.00%, 0.00%, 0.00%) and 0.00% transparency
You just need to change some fields according to your liking such as the Transparency.

And to play music, find the trigger "Play Music" at sounds part of the trigger:

  • Sound - Play >>>your music here<<<
You need to Use your mp3 first as music before making this trigger by the way.

The cinefilter natives are not the culprit here. The Video - Fade Filter action does so. GUI users should take Video - Advanced Filter.
I never really used them, only know that a huge number of maps I played suffered from it. If you can use the filters without breaking the tooltips that is great and really needs a tutorial.
