Putting a loading screen is simple you just need proper tools to convert it to a .tga format. Only some programs can do this so u might want to download a program that can convert from normal format to a bmp format then use a diffrent program to convert to tga, then you use the final program to convert into a mdx format....this is what i use to do my loading screens since some programs that convert to .tga you have to pay for those programs.
These are my programs i use just go to google and search these programs up and then download them. NOTE:the programs are trials so after a period of time say (week) it will not be a trial anymore so you will have to uninstall it.

My programs i use in order:
Advance Batch Converter 3.9
Neomesh Image Converter
WC3 Image Extracter 2- THIS FILE IS NOT A PROGRAM ON ANOTHER SITE ITS FROM THIS EXACT SITE RIGHT NOW WC3SEAR.CH you can find it in Tools.

For better explaining on how to make a loading screen check this web site out, its a tutorial. http://world-editor-tutorials.thehelper.net/loadscreen.shtml
The program it tells you to download you have to pay for that so just look in google website and search up tga converter. How long eh? l8ter
