Need help playing King RPG :)

Hey guys, I've finally found a long lost RPG that I loved playing when I was younger, It's called King RPG, and I'd love to play it either with a friend or solo, but when I try to open it up it says "Cannot load map Data". It does this with all of the versions I've downloaded, does someone know how to fix this/a workaround so I can play the map?
