Need help downloading Maps

Hi, I'm new to forums and need help downloading the custom campaigns. Whenever i tried to download them a pop-up comes out saying that i needed an app (i forgot the name). and when i downloaded the app and the maps nothing worked at all.

Several things I need to know in order to help out.

#1: Are you trying to download campaigns or maps? Your title said maps but here you said campaigns. There's a difference between the two.
- Campaigns are a collection of maps melded together in a specific order. They cannot be played online.
- Maps are single entities, either part of a campaign or independent from a campaign.

Campaigns and maps both needed to be downloaded to separate places inside the Warcraft III folder.

#2: You mention "apps" and how a pop-up shows up. There shouldn't be any pop-ups of extra requirements needed for Warcraft III. Could you by chance take a screenshot so I can have a better idea of what you're dealing with?

I don't have that pop-up experience when downloading maps... maybe you have some kind of download manager installed and expired?

I also have a similar issue. I can download the campaigns, but not the maps. When im uploading the maps in Map editor, it stops at triggers and says some weird error has occurred.

That generally means the author has 'protected' their map.

There are some ways to open it but that can't be discussed here, sorry.

If your Warcraft is up to date (1.26a), then those maps are no longer compatible.
If not, then update.
