I'm trying to get a team together to work on a Halo map. I've not gotten too far yet as I've been working on some models for it, but I'm not really at all good at animating humans and things like that.
So I'm hoping to perhaps find some people here who can help me with that aspect, as it needs to be done and I think it would be best to not have me do it or else it won't work out. I've not rigged the models as I'm not too sure how I'm supposed to do it for Warcraft (don't know if I can use bipeds or need to use dummy points or something), as I've never made anything for it before.
Also, I need help with the attachment points for weapons and that, but I assume that would come after the animation (once again I don't know a lot about it)

I also need to get some people who can help me with tilesets and some other models (missiles, explosions, static things, ect).

If you want to help, PM me or email me ([email protected]) or leave a message here or something.

And here are some shots of the models I've got. These are kind of old, and I don't have shots of the character models right now, I'll get some and post it soon.

Export? What are you talking about?
And I'm aware they're high-poly, I'm still running a lot of them through reducers. I took those screenshots a while ago, and those are just the only ones I have

No, my friends and I had an animation class a few years ago and we pretty much had the entire year to do whatever we wanted, so we made a big battle thing with the Halo characters, and I saved them on an external hard drive for backups and never deleted them apperantly.
I only made the vehicles, weapons, and worked on the landscape and did a little of the animation. Everyone else did the Human, Covenant, and Flood models. We had the majority of the year to make it, and all of us had 3DS Max at home, and I think most of us had early release. Plus an hour and a half of animation every day, and we had the intention of forming a video game development company after we graduated, although that never happened, so there were five or so of us that were really intent on the whole project (although in hindsight, I fail to see how it would help us).
But, you might be right. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the models were extracted to get them done faster, but as far as I know they weren't.

you are going to crash and lag wc3 if you put all those model in there, the engine wont be able to handle it, i mean, honestly look at the wheels, you will need warcraft 3 optimized and suitable models and yes, they do look like rips but there are some diffs I seem to smell out if I suspect right as even the game wouldnt have that many polies as its mainly bump/displacement based.

Why dont you make some other related or un-related model, and you show us the steps, just so that we know your not faking it. After that the accusations will stop, people will believe you, and your work will go smoother.

Remake a low-poly of one of the models, just quickly, nothing fancy, and show us the steps. With someone of your "Skill" it shouldnt take long to make something MUCH simpler than the ones you have.

Side note: Yes i do realize i am drooling for halo models, do not point that out. But i am not using the proof thing as an excuse.
