Need a few chest edits

2) Chest, with http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/sword-darkness-114819/?prev=search=sword&d=list&r=20 this stuck in it (pref. at a different angle than the others, as iwth all the other chests

3) same as last except http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/sword-destiny-48774/?prev=search=sword&d=list&r=20

would i need permission for it? your basically just sticking it inside of a chest lol

Why don't you do it yourself in the Editor? Just use a Doodad and give it the look of the sword model, then just place it on a normal chest like you want to. You're able to rotate and move it so it fits well. No need of extra model work..

I don't think you have much experience on building such stuff, huh?

Just make the chest and create it with doodads, maybe destructables to make it even better?
And then juts place a dummy Item at the same position, so you have something clickable and a real item.. blablabla.. just remove the doodads when the item gets picked up.

You even could improve it with using destructable doodads, and let the players destroy the chests and then just give them the items, or let an item sword fly around and lay it on the ground so it can be picked up..

Lots of ideas and options you have here, be creative and use it.. It's really unnecessary to create those chests with swords in it.. cause you can solve it yourself in the editor.

Anything that you do with the model found in the model section requires the permission from its author. That's what I thought.

I dont require permission to use the model in my map, i only need to put credits....

Look, what you would like for the model to be done is called "merging" and merging is model editing. Model editing of any models found in the model section requires permission from the author.

and then you say:

Of course you will credit the people who created the models you used in your map, but if a model passes some editing, you still need the permission from whoever is the author of the model you want to use for editing. Now, if you don't seek some permission wait for some other modeler who might take this request.
