Nano-Survival (Release 1.0)

WARNING! THIS SURVIVAL IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH BRAIN DAMAGE OR WITHOUT ANY LOGIC IN MIND WARNING!

Changes:

Version 1.0:
Added Shadow Reaper mobs for heroes above level 85
Very slight balance changes, old saves are compatible.
Changed generated save file name.
Release version, just to give some respect to my map. Eh :(

Version 0.99B:
Fixed some mistakes in skill tooltips and game messages.
Quests now give more experience.
Balance changes for last mobs.

LOOKING FOR DEVELOPERS who can add new things to map and finally help me to release version 1.0 after so long time. CJass, VJass (Not the latest version, since broken compability with Cjass) , Jass.

LOOKING FOR TESTERS!!!

Can also take suggestions for items, but if you suggest something give me link for item's icon. More likely i won't be able do any "Hardcoded" Vjass items because of my limited time, so you can suggest items which can be done with regular warcraft 3 object editor.




About Map:
Features of game: the Map represents genre Survival/ORPG. The Main task in a map - to survive from invasion of the demons. Besides it, it is possible to kill every boss and that will be your main goal. Each boss has the small history about occurrence in this world.
The map is made in winter style which is not standard for games about the survival.

You can get achievements in game and save them by command "-save", and load later with command "-load youcode" (Usually for ORPG). Also you can save level and amount of kills.

the Map is in constant making though I am limited in time, but I do it on mood.

The map is closed for editing if you wish to help with map creation leave comments below.

I would be happy to hear any offers and ideas for a map!

I went ahead and tried it with 2 other people. First it wasn't translated the best and had typos. At first they were owning us on easy but then we went to a camp and sat there without trouble we gained levels quickly and they thought it was boring and too easy. But I think we'd find hard impossible if I were to test hard difficulty instead. As for the heroes he has sniper medic engineer soldier. All have 2-3 class specific abilities which usually were not special and the engineer was strong at first but gets weak later and the opposite goes for sniper meaning imba classes. Other than that the skills he picked everyone had the same which were endurance aura, avatar and a critical strike(which added damage not a multiplier). So my opinion 2.8/5 because it could be fun if it improved a lot but for now it wasn't.

well my english isnt good either but in this game it was horrible.
the terrain was ok the bosses could be more dunno special like in other games...
BUT overall was fun (but could have more items)

I gotta say this; I havent killed BoB the trader yet... BUt it wud be nice if he allied you, and made a special shop for you so you could buy new weapons (;

Yep... i think about that... by history Bob The Trader was human, so i can make - when you kill him , he become allied to us and sell's different items (Like prize for all who killed him). And don't abort game by win trigger ...) I will just open gate's near him when he die.

And will work on other strong bosses ( Well... any orpg need mega powered boss?)

Also, it wud be cool if you made another map, with bosses only to get better items... And more modes maybe? I wanna play EXTREME! ^^

And 'a player has LEFT the game.'. Not leaved.. And when a player dies.. Its 'A player has been killed'

I will make hard mode much more harder(Decrease upgrade timer for they lvling) and zombies with new levels will gain movespeed.

Maybe need some formula for make upgrade timer depence on lvl of marines. :)

Anyways, I think the Water Orb shud give u more INT.. I dun think the number of +INT it gives, is enough. If you think about how hard it is to kill the Water Elemental.

Done +25 int and +5 agi, now i will work on items which will sell Bob Trader after he become human ( Must kill him). Items will be usefull for final fight and will not be dropable + low gold cost.(500-1000g).:grin:
And will make on THIS map Final Bosses. ( How much hard? For 5-6 people?)


Zombies(Necros + gargoyles + skeletons ) now grade to 75 level, easy ugrade time - 45 seconds. Hard upgrade time - think about 5-10 seconds.

75*5=375/60=6.25 minutes and zombies get max level
75*10=750/60=12.5 minutes and zombies get max level

PS: Each level of monsters give you bonus Exp, but monster must be killed by you hero ( So engineer don't gain bonus exp when turret or robot kills monster for him + I need remake lasershot in late game skill( don't have good ideas...only stupid)

PS2: If you get Staff Of Silence from Fire Lord - Water lord will be a little easy=)

Hmm... i removing all special effects and locations which can leak.
Which configuration you have? Athlon 3200+( 2200 mhz) , geforce 7600 GT, 1gb ram. No lags... heh

I Forget to destroy heroes (Human Hunters) Which act like creeps. :) They can leak... will work on that.

And forget remove unit groups which can leak( Pick every unit in bla bla....). Now im fixing that.

Can you answer me... when you play with someone my map , they got disconects? (Just fast DC without any wait). Cause when i host - after some time all players( except my friends in ggc ) disconects, but i ask them and they say - "IM not leave, was disconect"

Can't understand why happens this.

Well, I dont use GGC, but yeah, It happened to me a couple of times.
But its a server-split, so they keep playing... Or well, when it happens to me.

In first versions was tome with 500 gold cost and +1 +1 +1 to all stats. I understand one thing - that was imbalanced. And stats in my save system doesn't save....

So i need find another way to spend money:). Maybe Buy Vampiric Potions ?)

Im working now on 0.37c

What's new:

ZOMBIES Number will now depend on numbers of playing players. But they still can't be >100

And i will make some combines item.
Poison Bolt + Strong Rockets = Poison Rockets
Royal Ice Crown + Water Orb = Royal Water Crown
and maybe more....

Combined items will have same stats like 2 items, but requires one slot...

What about at day, undeads doesnt spawn, so you have a chance to defeat bosses while on Extreme Mode? XD
Also, I think you shud get some benefits playing on Extreme. Maybe monsters drop special items or something.

Maked... now zombies not spawn at day, but you must kill all zombies which was spawned at night , anyway...) ( PS: ONLY EXTREME)

About items... that require time... which i don't have for week :razz:

Crafting will be avaible only for players on extreme and these items will have many uses against zombies and bosses.

I will make crafting for all difficulty... nvm , but maybe some bonuses for extreme mode

Will try do levels for specialities=)

What you will think if i make map only ORPG?

Survival will be in some quests. But when game started there will be no "hard,easy,extreme" , just game will start. You get some start quest and mobs will be on map placed in map editor, not by spawn trigger.

When you reach some quest location - it can be like trap - all doors closed and monsters start spawn, you will must survive some time.

So... maybe i make full ORPG map from this?

I played the 0.39 version.. It was good, you made some good updates.
But some suggestions: Redo the loading screen, TEAL HURTS MY EYES! Also, you shud make a list of stuff you can make in the quests or something.

I maybe will make automatically -up skills :)), that why command not in F9 (testing command)

Maked - now you can drop all items, but another player will not be able to take you item (except - item with charges)

I got many ideas for craft items in extreme mode!

It wud be nice... Cuz its kinda hard for the new ones, to catch up with you when youre attacking bosses... But dont make it, so you only can walk one way. I like the freedom you have, and just can walk around.
