I just posted version 2.0 of my map, called "Heroes of The Void", you can download it over b.net on the EU servers and check out the code. It features a custom minimap, world-map, a custom Actionbar, with an abilityBrowser working with it. The code is written so a trigger can be bound to any ability.

The latest I did before this release, was to make the ActionBar ability order save and load, so you only have to select abilities the first time you play :)

I have a hard time explaining this probably, but I used a lot of time to make these triggers easy to understand and use, and they DO work pretty damn good in my opinion.

Anyways, here's a video about the map, and the systems. Just thought I post before I go to sleep :) I'm sorry if you do not care about this :eekani:

The map is one of the best out there, but it's pretty short, i suggest you to buff up the enemies and add a little more space to go instead of charging for the queen, add a little cave or more space so it wont be that quick, it takes at least 2 minutes to finish, but it's really fun and original! :D

It's a good idea, and to be honest, the terrain and the unit-placement have not changed much since the very first day I started the map. The map was original made to test out all my systems, and it still serves the same purpose, but since the day where it hitted #1 on the EU servers, I done more to make the maps game-play more fun.
The map was, as I state in the map as well, a concept map. And with concept, I mean all the systems, not the map as units, terrain, spells and so on. The systems belong in a yet to be started ORPG map I plan to do. I have everything planed for this project, but I have chosen not to start it before the actual game comes out :) I have made all the systems to be imported directly into this ORPG map, it won't take more than 10 minutes to get everything working!

I have actually done a few things to make the gameplay longer. First of, the host can choose the difficulty, up to a level I have been nowhere close to complete myself :p secondly, if you notice, there are three waves of enemies, Zerglings, Roach/Hydra and the Ultralisk wave. These waves spawn as you approach the queen, and hopefully you are pushed back (at least on the harder difficulties).

On the second thought, making the map longer might not be as hard, or take as long time as I think, it migh actually be quite easy :) Thanks, I will give it a try. Also maybe create some epic terrain, if possible :D

When I introduce the level-system for the next version, heroes will get a lot better, so I will make the zerg a LOT stronger as well!

Thanks :) I'm not sure what you mean about design. Is it just the look of it, or how it works. If it's just the looks, I can only suggest you to put some time into it, the more time you use on the design, the better it will look, I promis. I'm not very good at such things, though..

If it's how it works, with ability drag/drop and such, I WISH I could help, but exporting triggers are not supported yet. If it was, you could just import the systems you like and it should work, only by calling them, and choose a few parameters, no problem. Maybe this will be fixed in the next version :D

I will add some explaining text in the start of the game, just to get people started out better. In the next version :)

Just updated the map to 2.1 with a better start-text and a buffed queen (I made the hot-fix because people found out that even on hard-mode, the heroes could sneak down and kill the queen in about half a minute. The queen does now have 3 times more hp, and over the double regeneration, and the damage increased from 8 to 24)

Hmmm, that sounds harder, aw im not at the PC with SC2 to test it :( w/e any ideas of making the map loinger?Hmmm, how a bout a sudden bossfight, where some roks block your way and a huge zerg comes and you must fight it in order to get past the rocks, or zerg making more suicide squads that kill you allies so you must stick with the other zealots?
