Very little atmosphere, and no background. Always give the impression that your terrain goes on forever.

Ok for a first terrain this isn't bad. Couple things you could fix though.

1: The ground is a little flat where the people are standing.

2: where you have the ground raised it is a little pointed. Try rounding it off.

3:Denser fog would make the atmisphere much better. also the sky should be zoomed out.

For a first try this is pretty good.

I've never seen a whine barrel. I guess they're really big? I'd prefer if you just used a wine barrel for now.
