My First Terrain!

Cant really see whats the theme of this. I mean there is a paladin at the background and everything seems a little basic. The paladin makes it all just look wrong, its just look so random. Keep training !

Okay, in your future terrains I would like to see more of a sky. Try to avoid showing the ugly ground textures. The way you can do that is be placing rocks and stuff and use more texture variation. Also adding grass will give a nice effect. Blizzard trees mostly look ugly and should be avoided if you want to create a good terrain. Look in the UTM, there's alot of good tree models there. Keep terraining. +rep since it's your first. ; )

One key to good terraining, is to carefully choose the angle, and what doodads are close to the camera, so as to reduce the poor textures shown. I wouldn't use such a low camera, or have those doodads or units so close to the camera.
