Multiplayer Campaigns

ok so my question is; is it possible to create a custom campaign that is playable in multiplayer (over lan or the net)

for instance, if i create a campaign of three maps each with four players that each end with completing a main quest, is it possible to make it playable with four people or just singleplayer?

Sadly, it isn't possible as far as I know. You can have the maps separately and have them do it like that, but actual campaigns can't be multiplayer. If you start the next map, they'll all appear in the next map by themselves.

so then it is possible to make a map continue onto another map with multiplayer but without making it into a campaign?

im askin cuz thats rly what i need, and not a campaign...

You would need a save/load system, someone is already attempting to make it so with the RoC campaigns in map development for 2 player.
