For a while now I have been considering using different skins in my warcraft iiI mpq, but I have a question before I do so.

Does anyone know if I use custom skins in my base mpq if it will still allow my Warcraft to be played online?

I was thinking it would probably only affect me, but I am sure.

you can change whatever visual effect you want locally

It violates the games ToU so can get you banned.

Enable local files rather. Even then you will want to be careful. Rather use non conflicting assets.
