Something I made while on vacation. It's a shallow forest pool with a huge waterfall-- it doesn't really make sense but I don't care.. I'm connected to fucking dialup right now and it took me 5 minutes to upload the damn jpg.
Big images are better for this kind of thing, in my opinion. The terrain might be kinda bad because I fucked it up halfway through because all the scaling reset after I saved the map, so I had to re-do it all by clicking on stuff and sizing it up :|
I think what makes it really realistic besides the lighting is the eerie fog you used as the mist from the falling water. I've used it for all sorts of things besides fog lolz.
Well it's a whole lot better than the original blizzard waterfall... And it looks decent enough I think. If someone makes a waterfall model they should make it without annoying spray at the top that gets fucked up if you scale it and without those god damned waves at the bottom/top.
I say take my advice: make the angel far so u can see what is above the water fall on that litle mountain and make a hunt or something and a forest or u can make it more steam so it looks more life like or that fog that u used can be still ther....adding fishes in the water my be good idea i think school fish bether!
