Molten Kodo

This is my first skin in quite awhile, and I never really had any great skins. It's for the compo, and was looking for some suggestions n such. Thanks.

maybe make the lava stuff a bit more vivid so it looks hotter and more molten

Make the color of the rider different than the color of the Kodo's armor.

Alright, I'll have to do that tommorow, but thanks guys. And what do you think about this, I know the weapon n kilt/legs are lacking, n gotta work on those, but what else?

It is a slight model edit also, but not very well lol. And kind of a bad ingame screen...

We can't see the majority of him (most of legs, torso), but the blade's could be fixed to make it look like their chained to him more. (like linking the chains on the arms to chains on the swords.)

Both those textures are very messy and blurry

How do I make them less blurry? Smaller brush? And by messy, like not smooth?

Use big brushes, and then progress down to small brushes
And by not smooth, I mean the shading. It's all crapped up

Alright, I see what you mean, would smudge help fix the shading?

Ok, no. Now it looks like he is wearing armor. Blur and smudge suck for shading. Dont use them. Just use 10% opacity brushes and take things in little steps at a time.

I actually didn't use blur or smudge, I had it so it looked waaaay too much like armor, and I went over it with the gray I used for skin color at about 15% opacity.

Nice dude, thats totally badass. Though I still think it looks a little much like armor. Make the face a little less blurry.

EDIT: And Kratos doesnt just have cloth on his feet.

ok.. so now you should really add some shading to the wrists and the sword is still a little blurry, so just sharpen it a little

Can Anyone tell me how you did that?... The sword usually has two blades... now it has one ?

if u done a model edit on the blades do one on the face as well. Kratos's tattoos are not symetrical

I know they are not symmetrical, but I do not know how to remap textures.

i think you can in vertex modifier. i think it is in the scratch modeling wepaons tutroials in the 3d modeling tutorials section
