Modern Ruined City

Work in progress on my map 'The Path of Ashes'. Resembles something you might see in a European city during a nuclear fallout. Nearly fills up an epic size map, so this is just a small taste. xD

Towers are made by Whitehorn. You can download them from the Resources/Models/ section at Wc3Campaigns.net
Possibly at our model resources section somewhere too.

Looks very good. It's a bit messy and can use some cleaning up, but overall it is very nice and inspired me to work on Apocalypse.

wow utter FAILURE, those do not look like mosques at all, the dome is the only thing that inherently resembles a mosque...normally mosques have a thin tower(minaret) and a dome which is not just standing there by itself.........dont even try to start up a tenable argument against my claim.

I used trolling wrong, trolling is when someone tries to start up an argument, which is not what you did (I think). I guess I should have said "falmming". Apologies.

In your post you star all wrong. "wow utter failure" is not polite at all.
You state your argument, which was fine, although no one said they were mosques, but that's beside the point. Then at the end you state "dont even try to start up a tenable argument against my claim". If you make an argument, never ever tell people to not try to refute you. You are entitled to your opinion and others are entitled to theirs.

He wasn't trolling IMO. He also never stated he didn't like the screen. He just said they don't look like mosques.

Gah, instead of having these useless and boring discussions, we'd better talk about the map.

Let me explain, i was aking were did he get the towers, and the othe guy didnt exactly new what i was referring to. So he akes mee if it were the mosque(like) thingies. he could either say dome towers. He called it mosque's because those towers don't display names and it was the first name wich came up in his mind. No need saying: Those aren't Mosque's! he already knew that...

Forum/Chatroom Troll: Someone who visits forums/chatrooms often and starts up conversations, usually about something that has to do with advertisements, games, or can sometimes be an individual who plans on "flaming".

Trolling and Flaming are totally different. Flaming is being an arrogant, ignorant, and idiotic person arguing or insulting others for usually stupid reasons. This occurs on forums, chatrooms, and instant messangers.

Well to make things a bit clearer, flaming is against the rules. And if I spot a flamer, they get warned. Continueing the flame will result in negative reputation given.
So play nice, everyone! It's the Terrain Forum and there is no reason at all why people should get so defensive/offensive.

Thanks for your comments everyone. The towers aren't mean to be mosques or anything like that, they just have a good dark/gothic feel to them. Yes, it is playable, and is infact complete. More screenshots of the terrain are available here:http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41725. I will be uploading the finished product here within the next couple days.
