Modeling or Animation Program

Where can I get a good Modeling Program? I want something free that is easy to use. I use Oinkerwinkles tools and Magos' Model Editor but I can't animate in those or add vertexes and such.

Where can I get a decent program? I have tried Warshape for animating but it always goes really slow and crashes on me.

I found a modeling program you could try called blender (thats free)

I duno to much about it though.. but there seem to be alot of tutorials.
