Best Modeling Program For WC3?

Hey guys

I am searching for a program to start modeling so i want a program that has a import and export plugin so i can always edit models cause i see many modeling program here but i dont know what to use i also have 3ds max 5 but some my friend says importing model in 3ds max removes the models animation so i want to find other programs ^^ tnx

3dsmax 5, Install art tools in it. Thats the tool blizzard used to make all war3 models (actually the used version 4 but it works on 5 too), you can dl it at their page.

3ds cost too much. But since you have 3ds 5, add this into it and your problem is solved.

plus you would probably want to add Magos model editor for adding some finishing touches and war3viewer for extracting/converting textures from wc3...

Magos can import/export already, and actually has more access to the MPQs than Wc3Viewer. Only good thing with Viewer is you can constantly see new changes to your model's texture.
