but when i save the model file, it's .max file
i can't find any tool that converting .max to .mdl or .mdx
i juz saw some tool is convert .3ds and .gmax
LOL sure it is possible to make models in 3Ds Max 2009....but it's rather difficult because 3Ds Max Version > 5 does not support the warcraft art tool....
the file format i save is only got 2 choice that is .max and .chr
there are no convertor convert .max file....
i try .3ds convertor but cant even browse the .max file =.=
and other model editor that other than milkshape??
Please try the exporter.
Download it then save it somewhere and open 3ds max.
Then go to MaxScript and run script. Choose the exporter and see if your lucky^^
If it works... be happy if not... tell me
EDIT: I am not sure but try: File -> Export... (maybe that works)

help me convert a .3ds file to .mdx or .mdl
coz my computer maybe crash to these program,
i remember last time war3 viewer also crash, but dunno y suddenly can use...
so pls help me convert with ur computer....can?
Sure I try to help you... problem is... I am in school at the moment...(no lessons) in the computer room... so I can't install this programm... I try when I am back home^^

can't guarantee its work or not work...
1st) i'm wondering how convert with that convert and set the animation name...
i had use the script last time, i know it got a function to let me set the time lenght.
2nd) the model is a test model with some animation, but it din't show any model and animation is stand - (1.000)
