modeling a basic human form?

If your talking about Warcraft models they are very low poly and fake human form. Best way would be to import some human models like the paladin, arthas, ect, and see how the pros do it.

If your very new to modeling and all, then have a look at the tutorials for Editable Poly, there's some that come with max.
