Model File Converting Problem

Whenevr I use yobgults file converter or whatever its called it dosent work!!! I just finished a model and its texture but I cannot get it to work until I make it a mdx of course. I have it at mdl now because if I
try to convert it an error comes up and the file dosent convert :(. I have Also Reincatalled the program 4 times and it dosent work!!!!. Whats up with
this? Dose anyone know how I fix it I badly want to finish this model :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(.

The error says:

Error reading model file:

Error (line 1): Execepted token "<=1/2"

Thats all it says, except the 1/2 is small and the arrow is really small and thick. And I badly BADLY want to convert this, so how do I succesfully convert it?:?:?:?:?

I managed to fix the problem BUT, it dosent show in the editor (and if it dosent show in the editor it shudent show in Wc3Roc/TFT) I don't mean the invalid message pops up, there is a model there but nothing at the place at the same time. So how would I fix this???? I badly want to know :mrgreen:.
PLEEEEEEASE SOMONE HELP

Did you tell it what skin to use in the MDl before you converted it? If thats it then it should just be coverd in team color. Is there nothing there or a checkerd cube?

You mean magos's? I have no idea how to use that one and I suck with it :( also it says you can only import .md2 file types but how do you make those? could I turn my gmax model/skin into a .md2 and import it into Magos's editor?
