Minus sign Problem (how to put negative values in object editor)

Hi guys,
I want to make a death aura which reduces the mocement speed and the hps. But when i write in -0.50 it changes it to 0.00. So how do i put the minus sign to here? Please help me.

hold shift (or was it ctrl)

File -> Preferences -> Tick 'Enable nagetive values'.
Click Shilft + D on target field and enter value you want.
