MINI WARS!

This will be a quick small 4 player fun map that will test your offensive and defensive skills online. Think of it as something between Footmen Frenzy and Stronghold.

----Basics----

-First you start out with a campfire and you have to choose your race out of 12 available races (human, orc, undead, night elf, demon, blood elf, etc...)
Then you quickly make workers that you put 5 of mining and about 8 or so on the only lumber tree in your base, for constant resources. So you have your main building that makes workers, troops, and race hero, and you can build one special building that can upgrade troops and have hero items that i will discuss later...

-Next you summon your race hero (optional), and start building your army. Not one by one like other maps, but in squads. All troops will be trained in squads, with the exception of workers, heroes, siege weapons, and uber units. For example your basic Infantry squad might have 6 units in total: containing 4 swordsmen and 2 spearmen. Swordsmen will have shields to counter archer attacks, and Spearmen to counter mounted units.

----Your Base----

-Your base will be like a fortress; you will have only 2 buildings, but it will be on a hill surrounded by walls and towers to protect it. Your gate will be the only passageway from your safe haven to the war raging on outside. Most buildings, troops can walk on to it to defend from oncoming attacks. The most useful units would be archers and siege weapons, note that towers will give a range bonus to ranged troops.

----Squad/Battalion Types----

Infantry - A good all round squad with units that can be used as cannon fodder at front line assaults. Made up of Swordsmen/Spearmen that can counter archer fire and mounted units (Varies by race)

Archer - Your basic ranged squad consisting of archers. They can pick off small ground units and air units at a range. They benefit if they are placed on walls or towers that give them more range (Varies by race)

Cavalry - The fastest units on the map. Have lots of hit points but cost lots of population (Varies by race)

Caster - A squad of casters. Each type of caster has its own auto-cast ability. They are relatively weak in attack and defense but if there's 2 auto-casting heal, 2 auto-casting frost armor, and 2 auto-casting bloodlust, it will give your army an advantage over your enemies (Varies by race)

Air - A squad of air units that can even fly over walls. They can only be attacked by ranged units so air squads can be devastating to melee troops (Varies by race)

Siege - A single siege weapon unit. Siege weapons are great for taking down base defenses or causing chaos to masses of troops. Be careful, they can damage your units as well and can be quickly destroyed by an air or cavalry squad (Varies by race)

Uber - A single giantic unit that can take massive amounts of punishment and can cause great destruction to the enemy, even heros fear if they have to go 1v1 versus them (Varies by race)

Race Special Unit/Squad - Obviously varies by race

----Buildings----

Base - A castle with lots of HP that is walkable for units. Creates 8 unit types mentioned before, as well as workers and race hero that can be revived.
You get your base after you choose your race.

Shop - Only one is allowed and it is be built by workers. It contains 4 troop upgrades. They are:
-Increased Attack
-Increased Armor
-2 race upgrades (like bonus HP, etc...)
And also 6 Hero items for that race hero.

Wall - Sturdy stone wall that is walkable and gives a small range bonus to ranged troops.

Stairs - A wall section that is walkable and gives units access to walls, gates and towers.

Gate - Keeps enemy ground troops out of your base, similar function to wall.

Tower - Can hold archers and give them damage protection and a range bonus.

----Other Info----

-Squads would usually contain 6 units with the exception of workers, heroes, siege weapons, and uber units.

-Food cap would be between 100-200 about 50-100 units

-You win if you destroy all other castles and eliminate all units

I will first make the 4 basic races and ill add more later, resources are ok for now.

I do need a quality squad system though, this is the one i am using now, it selects all unit in a box not the captains :(
