Hi!

Regarding the Unwrap, if your tool resembles gmax in that regard, you'll have a list of modifiers from which you can pick "UV coordinate modifiers" and "Unwrap UVW" if your mesh is selected. To get the texture, you probably have a material navigator that allows you to assign a texture to the model (just to have a basis for the unwrap, if it is like gmax, the texture won't actually stick to your model unless you add it in notepad)

By the way, http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...-3d-s-max-5-chapter-1-modelling-uw-map-51012/ . How did you miss that :) ?

I like your model, not that original so far, but nice shapes and proportions. Is the roof held by only one Column? That's kinda akward, I hope you'll cahnge that or have a reasonable explanation for it :p

I think the model looks fantastic for a first try! Keep it up matey, and you'll be one of the great modellers.

My only suggestion is adding corner pillars supporting the roof, only one pillar looks slightly strange. And if you have room for more details, add a brazier for fire arrows in the tower

i just wanted to say when you are wraping a model you will sometimes have to use a bunch of views (like: top; right; left; bottom) to get it look good. So why am I saying this to you well take a look at your model. See the window now look at that pice of wall bellow it its wraped perfectly on the sides but it aint from the top so you wold have to fix it by rewraping that piece of model with top view.

you should provide a wireframe:
http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/wireframe-simple-render
(you are using 3dsmax, arent you?)

its okay for a beginner! its got logical errors all over the place (e.g. it wouldnt work)
its maybe okay for wc3, but if u r interested in getting some skill you should think about if the stuff would work in real life
(e.g. even if you have some plasma tank on the back of a robot you need to think of what does the plasma and then come up with tubes for it connecting the parts and stuff like that)
