Although these soldiers are neither from the Alliance nor the Horde, but they are highly experienced veterans of the Second War. As the Third War progresses, these mercenaries have the better training, experience and customized for war. These are the units:
1. Mercenary Footman - Dark armored soldiers specializing at defending.
2. Mercenary Archer - Elven exiles that are not High or Blood Elf, using Cold or Searing Arrows.
3. Mercenary Priest - Ex-Alliance healers, but retains the ability to Heal, Dispel Magic, or Inner Fire.
4. Mercenary Assassin - Former Alterac veterans, utilizing Evasion and lethality with Shadow Strike.
