Meat

This is the only model I've made so far that doesn't have teamcolor! I suppose I could teamcolor it, but that would just be weird...

Uses of this model: Cooking in RP games. I don't know if they have cooking, I don't usually RP, but if the rp games some of you people play have cooking, maybe you might want this.
Or, many games have food which you can eat to heal yourself. Many users on hive have created things such as carrots, donuts, and cupcakes. Not sure donuts and cupcakes increase your health, and carnivores don't eat veggies. Love the donut and cupcake models, though. They haz teamcolored icing! Also D.O.G. tends to make a lot of food models, so if you want some more tasty models, check out his collection!

Yes, I am aware that there are two other meat models on hive, but they don't do what I want. Their purple particle emmitters really ruin the point of the models (what kind of meat is covered in purple sparkles and clouds).
Also, my model is a much lower file size and uses in-game textures. It actually uses an icon for the texture! Mine also has animations for birth, death, stand, and portrait!
You can compare it to the other meat models:

Everyone has permission to edit this model! That does not mean you have permission to edit all of my modelsl, however you do have permission to edit this model. You do NOT, however, have my permission to re-upload your version of this model.

Update 5/19/11
--Lowered file size by 0.01 KB again FTW!
Update 5/17/11
--Fixed model, works in-game now!
--Lowered file size by .01 KB W00T W00T!
--Improved texture wrap
--Slightly improved mesh
Update 5/16/11
--Added Birth animation
--Added Death animation
--Added Portrait animation
--File size increased by 3 KB Y-Y

Update 9/05/12
--Made the meat a bit more round. Ignore the flatness of the preview; I can't take a new in-game screenshot at the moment, because for some odd reason the editor is stuck at 00:00 which makes poor screenshots, and even setting map and editor preferences to Noon doesn't seem to fix it. Will investigate and fix it later, but deal with the magos screenshot for now.
--Re-uploaded the model. After seeing many of hiveworkshop's greatest resource developers leave, I decided to re-submit my resources after them being gone for over a year. I shouldn't have let my pride cause me to take my resources down so long ago. Anyway, I hope some people find use in this.

Apparently, the way to please the hive is to feed it!
I should keep making more food models instead of weapons to prepare you for battle.
Btw I was already planning on making an apple, you might be able to expect one in the future. Probably won't make any more food after that, though. And hive are a bunch of carnivorous monsters, so nobody wants an apple :/

awesome model 5/5 +rep
but what happens if somebody wants to use it as a doodad?
could i remove all animations to make it stand still pls? :p

I don't see why you would want to use it as a doodad, but sure, you can remove the animations to use it as a doodad.

Did nobody test this in-game? It used to work but I downloaded my model off of hive and tested in-game, crashed world edit. I'm not quite sure what is causing the crash, I'll look into it.

Edit: Fixed it, it works great now! On the side note, lowered file size by 0.01 KB! That's how it's done! Also, I improved the texture wrap and mesh, it looks slightly better now.

Looks nice. I like that there's no sparkling particles around it, since it's just a piece of meat and not a treasure :D The others who attempted to make a model like this didn't understand that, you are wise my friend. :pcon:
