Maze Wars

Gameplay

Maze Wars has fun gameplay and takes some skill. The point is to finish a maze. Enter an area. Get to the end of the area then restart.

This may seem like a pointless task and all mazes have something like this in them. But this map has units created when you reach the end. Two teams battle as fast as they can to get more units.

Now with a replay option.

Ideas

I currently have the basics of the map down but would love to have new original unit ideas. Also any new area ideas would be highly appreciated.

Currently I am looking for a good idea for battle. I want something similar to what I have but *origanal* new ideas could be credited and incorperated.

Current Units

Brute: A harsh melle unit. Very slow. High dmg + hp. Available only to top.

Armored farmer: Decent melle unit. Ok speed. Middle dmg +hp. Abailable to both sides.

Polar warrior: Medium damage range unit. Same speed as brute. Longest range. Hp is fairly weak but is meant to be massed behind melle.

Abysall warrior:Medium damge melle unit. Pretty fast. Hp is medium.

Masse: Low damage melle unit. Pretty fast. Low hp. Easiest and fastest to get.

Pure metal: Low damage. Low speed. High hp.

Archery Target: Low damage. Low speed. High hp.

Priest: Basic Healer. Low Hp. Fast Speed. Almost no damage.

This map requires the Frozen throne.

Added a priest unit.
heals 20 hp for 80 mana over 2 secs. {I hope this helps balence lower health units}

Gameplay
Removed very annoying bug during final battle.
Tweaked restart system.

Removed a glitch that lost several units during the final battle.
Added titles to area types. Idea credit goes to 12aziel.

Fixed the priest unit so it is more effective.

That game is addicting, i played it one player, and i wanted to keep playing it lol, the maze part at first is kinda easy though.

Maybe as you enter a location it displays the name,

So players could tell others a unit stratagey, "everybody go to the cornfield for this round, and two go to the demon pit thing"

Ok thanks for the idea. Should i make the maze harder or is it fine the way it is? Also Thanks for the place name idea.

There's the problem, when your in the places its more like a labyrinth than a maze. You could make the beggining require teamwork to get through and get units. (One player distracts a monster while the others rush through) Or you could do something like putting traps in the beginning. (Lava does constant damage to the player while he does a mini-maze/ step on this location your trapped for ten seconds)

Actually, one idea is you have the areas and the starting locations linked.
You would take a lava path to a lava area with lava units, take a dark path to a dark area with dark units, ect.

Hmm I'll consider that as a idea. So the actual maze should just have a few guys while the terrained areas should have harder mazes to finish right?

I just thought that I might split this into two maps. A maze one and one like it currently is. I'll credit you with the idea.

Quick question, what are the unit healers for?
Since there's not more than one battle (Which there should be)
It's almost useless :p
