Matrix Eater's 3D Model View Doesn't Work

Retera's Matrix Eater should have a 3D model view in the 1/4 of the window. You can see it in this video, but all I see is a white rectangle. I don't see an option to enable it. I've downloaded different versions, but I never got the 3D model view to work on my PC. However, I remember it worked perfectly a few years ago on my really old PC from 2006 (RIP Windows XP).

Does anyone know what can I do to fix the 3D model view?

EDIT: I updated my ancient graphics card driver and that solved the problem.
