Raszagal was the revered matriarch of the Dark Templar on Shakuras, a wise and compassionate leader who guided her people through exile and hardship. Though respected across the protoss tribes, her fate took a tragic turn when she was secretly captured and mentally enslaved by Kerrigan. Under the Queen of Blades’ control, Raszagal was forced to manipulate Zeratul and the Dark Templar for Kerrigan’s schemes.
Despite her corrupted state, Raszagal’s true spirit occasionally broke through, revealing her suffering and remorse. In the end, Zeratul was forced to end her life to free her from Kerrigan’s domination—a loss that deeply scarred him and the Dark Templar. Raszagal is remembered as a symbol of wisdom, sacrifice, and the heavy cost of freedom.
