Is there a way for version 1.27 world editor open a version 1.32 reforged map?
How would the editor handle the missing features that come with updating to 1.32? I guess if there was some kind of custom community-made editor, but I don't know of one that can do this.Is there a way for version 1.27 world editor open a version 1.32 reforged map?
disagree. :<I don't think there's much of a reason to be on 1.27.
What? Why not play 1.28, or 1.29, or 1.30, or 1.31, they're all pre-Reforged. There's all sorts of fun stuff you're missing out on by not using 1.31.disagree. :<

Everyone should play 1.27b WC3
Everyone including the pro players should play the 1.27b version of the WC3 classic till Blizzard fix Reforged and remove the policy or redo the game and do what Blizzard said they were supposed to do in 2018. New blizzard is really ruining the games and this is not the old blizzard that we know...us.forums.blizzard.com
Such fools though. They didn't even try to promote Reforged more with the Chronicles of the Second War campaign (or high quality custom stuff). Do they think that people will simply stop playing Warcraft III if they don't maintain the game? If they somehow do a pull the plug move, they will actually lose potential customers not draw the Warcraft III fans to other of their games. Also, Blizzard does not give a FUCK about this game. They want the fans to stop playing it, they want it to die, it's in their best interest to shut down the servers for good.
Yeah, it's a shame, Reforged could've been a massive success had they given it the time and care it needed.Such fools though. ... it's sad to read the truth, BUT I still believe there can be a Blizzard redemption arc. If Miley freaking Cyrus can have one, Blizzard can too!Yeah, it's a shame, Reforged could've been a massive success had they given it the time and care it needed.
Anyway, it's all business decisions. If you were Apple and in the process of developing the iPhone 16, would you really care about complaints coming from iPhone 1 users - a phone released 18 years ago? Would complaints from 0.1% of your customer base really be on your radar? Obviously an honest company, and usually a much smaller one which seems to be a requirement for honesty, would still care as they want to keep their customers happy and maintain a positive public image, but Blizzard's focus is on new stuff which will market towards a MUCH larger consumer base - one that does not even know that Reforged exists.
We all want good guy Blizzard to come back but I just don't see it happening. I think we have to settle with these new balance patches being the only improvements that the game will receive from this point on. Which is telling because they're the easiest thing to change about the game, open the World Editor and modify a couple of fields in a matter of seconds.
Anyway, to stay on topic, I still think 1.31 is a good compromise if you don't want Reforged crap but still want to use a more advanced version of the game with many new and useful features. I'll personally always use the latest patch because I know how to work around the issues introduced, plus the whole being able to actually play it on the BNET aspect (sort of important).
I'm 100% certain it would, yeah. But this is pure speculation on my side.Would a map still be incompatible if one was to remove any trace of the new functions etc.?
