Map loading and custom units

Is here any difference between to edit 100 standard units by my own or create 100 custom units?
Does loading time get longer?
Same question about abilities.

I think the amount of data in object editor can have an influence on loading time. However I don't know if simply editting currently existing units can interfere with that as well.

Depends on how many resources you've uploaded to your map/campaign, Although there is a simple tool which allow to remove unnecessary data (reduce file size) Default Wc3mapoptimizer 5.0

This programm works with maps. What about data inisde a campaign?
