Probably a problem related to the auto close thread scripts that the server runs.

It is, indeed. In older maps I have to post a comment for the other mini-moderators to be able to post.

It's caused by Ralle's auto-close script. I think it should be disabled for the resource sections because necroposting isn't really against the rules there.

Hey can someone please explain how some threads are closed? I just came to know that it was a bug in case of Jaakko's map. I had faced many closed threads while trying to post comments on a map. I had thought that the map's creators might just have closed the threads due to one reason or the other. But seeing that closed threads might be a bug i am starting to feel that the threads i had ignored might also contain the same bug.

Also this isn't exactly a bug report so if anybody thinks that i misplaced this post then sorry for that. I just thought that it is the right place to post this.

Like has been said, old inactive threads are auto closed. This is due to the auto close script.

Zelda.Alex, as previous people have said, the old and inactive ones are auto-closed.

But closing these threads can mean that if anyone wants to suggest anything ,point out any bug, rate it- they just won't be able to do that on these closed threads. doesn't it?
Any new users who want to suggest on these threads cannot do that.

Also the creators of the maps should be made aware regarding the closing of their threads otherwise they will be totally unaware of the closing and just might assume that the users are not interested in their maps. can't they?

Regarding the above list sorry. I shouldn't have bothered the moderators with that.

Oh yes. It is definitely because old threads are auto closed. I could add these forums to the exception list.

I would strongly advise the adding of all recource forums and the jass script (not spells and systems) forum to the exception list as they do not really have problems with bumping.
