Okay this is kinda wierd.
What happened: A friend of mine gave permission to finish his map.
His stipulation: The map has to be playable on RoC.
The problem: When finished I saved, (not even used an optimizer yet) And tried to host it for him to download and play along. My problem is the map didnt show up on the list of games to host (I checked, rechecked, and checked again). When going to open the map back up in the editor i found it no problem. There was this little icon showing a lock on the bottom left hand corner if the icon preceding the map.

It opens fine, and all things are done completely as I made them. Any ideas?

I think the only problem is that the extension of the map. Change the file name to (Name).w3x

but the thing is. There is no expansion uses on any part of my map (Models/terrains/triggers/etc.). So I don't see how renaming it would work.

Do you used WEU?

If no,

How longer is the file name? Try reducing the name and placing it immediatelly in the wc3 map folder.

No, im not using WEU. Nor is the file name long.

I just bought a new computer with windows7. I downloaded wc3 roc//tft right from the net. Could it be that i did something?

Well, That is bad. Hahaha. I guess you need the "original" WEU.

then make a "dummy" changes to the editor just to make it to w3x, example is to change the game constant "time" to 500 instead of 480
