Mana resistence abilty?

I do not think so. However you could possibly trigger the mana removal using a damage detection system. In that case you could add extra logic to handle resistance to mana removal.

The tower uses an ability called "Feedback Naisha"

I tried spell resistance but it didn't seem to have any effect, but isn't their some sort of ability that reduces a spell's affect?

"Unit is Attacked" fires when the attacker winds up their basic attack, not when it lands. So a nefarious player could trigger "Unit is Attacked" events very quickly by ordering the unit to Stop repeatedly when in attack range.

I've been trying to get this damage detect system to work for the item I'm using to cancel out all mana sap damage caused by the tower but keep failing.

Damage Engine 3.8.0.0

Anyone able to tell me what I'm supposed to do?
I guess I'm following their comment instructions wrong.

Edit: Nvm, I realized the game I'm working on actually triggers the mana loss in a script. I just need to add if the unit has X item, cancel the mana sap. Thanks guys.
