He pretty much summed it up. Fix the birth to death transition, and make the particles less eye-searing. You've got 5 days to do this.

I think the textures that you have chosen for the geosets match really well but you should also add some love to your particles because they look a bit boring and simple as they are right now. Another idea would be to add a texture animation to the sphere to make it look more interesting (tutorial: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/f282/adding-animated-textures-notepad-alone-33161/ )

The theme has potential for a 3/5 or even a 4/5 if you keep working hard on it but right now it´s just a 2/5

Could be useful for some effects, its a little too big though i give a 3.5/5 fix the size.
