Making resources other than gold/lumber

I'm fairly new to WE and was curious as to how I could get a to unit mine Magic from a gold mine and not gold.

You can't actually make him mine it the normal way. Only stuff you can do is setup a multiboard for custom resources and trigger the whole thing.

Hmm. Sounds interesting. I've never messed with multiboards. Any advice on where I should look for the best information on that?

There are several multiboard tutorials. But then again working with multiboards a really easy, just mess around with them a little and you'll quickly get the hang of it.

Well beside if you dont use the Gold in your map, you could use it as "magic" As long as you have only 2 resources and you are not going to use Gold and lumber, this is an alternative way.
