Making chat text disappear?

Does anyone know how to remove the chat text? i already know how to put as a floating text over the units head, but the usual chat text remains, therefore its useless could anyone help me? i would be really glad

well ewery time you creaté a floating text use a variable and then set-(your variable) equal to last created floating text. THEN you can destroy the text via the variable like this

Floating text- destroy floatingtext_variable.

By the way this only hides chat when it should be displayed...
All messages are still put in the chat dialog when playing multiplayer...
