So, Im having some trouble with my map where I have a force field ability that gives the user shield and an effect around them, but I'm having trouble making the effect follow them. Basically what happens is the unit uses the ability and gets the bonus shield, but the force field that I created for them is left behind. Also, I want it to be removed from them after a certain time, so I can't just use attach actor, as theres no remove function (if there is, then please tell me and Ill admit how big an idiot I am). Thanks in advance.

the problem most likely lies in the Events+ for the actor.

edit: sorry wrong actors. fixed

go to GuardianShield (Unnamed)

copy the Effect.GuardianShieldPersistent.Start
copy the Effect.GuardianShieldPersistent.Stop

go to GuardianShieldImpact (Unnamed)

copy Behavior.GuardianShield.On

change the Source Names to your Ability, and set to Start/Stop/On as necessary. this is how i have it recreated on my map and it works fine :)
