Make damage increase with items bought.

Basically what I want to do is have a tower in my TD map which has an ability which costs 100g and every time the user buys it, the towers damage increases by say 50damage, how can I do this?

Just make an upgrade in upgrade section. Search for spell that gives damage, and modify it to 50. That should do it. It can also be done by triggers, but this is the easiest way.

I assume that you can make a spell permanent then. Can you make it cost gold per use, or should I just use a trigger to do that.

ok you'll have to make an abillity "Upgrade", and when unit finishes upgrading, make trigger that learns that ability to all of your towers.

No I don't mean to all towers, although if you could figure that out I'd be grateful just for the knowledge.

Just for the specific tower is what I want for my map. Basically a upgrade costing 100g that adds permanent damage/speed/range to tower every time used.

For the attack damage part of that upgrade you want, you could make the tower be able to buy items and use items, make an item that has the 'Item Permanent Damage Gain' ability and set it to the levels you want. Just allow the tower to sell items and have that item for sale.
Unfortunately I think that the damage upgrade is the only one that could be done with items like this.
