Magos's Model Editor on vista?

I can not get Magos's Model Editor to work on vista.
Any ideas?

first of all you need wc3 installed before magos works. but since your on vista i would check out this link

if that doesn't fix it then i have no clue. i don't own vista and im glad i don't, from what i hear its more trouble than its worth to be able to run the new generation games.

I can't install wc3 on vista, I have to use a protable version on my desktop (pre instaled on another computer and imported to my desktop).

then it wont work, magos needs the registry keys for it to run.

Can I download those and put them into my registry manualy?

i highly doubt it, you could try but it most likely will not work. you defiantly don't want to go messing around in the registry area if you don't know what your doing, you can easily screw stuff up.

sorry to say but if you cant get wc3 to work then you cant use magos. try oinkerwinkles vertex modify and stuff.
