Hey guys i got a (probably) cool idea for an Arena game,

I didnt start anything yet because ill only do this game if I get some support here (Too much work for one ^^).

What i could do best:

-Terrain
-Object-data

The idea is to make a nice skillshot mage-battle arena. There will be 1v1 battles, the winner gets to the next round against the other 1v1 winner and so on until only 1 stays.

The basic idea is it to make a 1v1 skillshot-magic-fight game where you develop ur own character.
A new gamer will join the game play it and first will be asked to select a magic type
these could be: Forest, Water, Fire, Light, Darkness, Ice, Earth and maybe some others.
Once he selected his elements he choses skills [LEVEL 1, Adept skills] for gold. There will be skills for each rank you get. So at the beginning you will have some gold and can buy some Level 1 spells listed in a tavern for purchase.
There will be several ranks:
Adept (level 1)
Advanced Adept (Level 2)
Master (Level 3)
Legendary Mage (Level 4)
....
Depending on your fight-outcomes you get experience to level up, and once you do you can get spells of another Level which will cost more.

Now what keeps you motivated is that you wont get exp that fast. you will probably get it for playing the game several times and gaining a "code" where the game safed ur Level and purchased spells.
You will have something like a spell inventory where you can chose the spells u purchased already before each battle. (depending on level max 5-6 spells)
Level 1 spells wont be useless though, because the higher your spell level the more ENERGY / preparation time for spell u need to use when casting, what could lead to lose in some gameplays.
Once you chose ur element you can NOT change it.
You can only start a game and dont load ur code, and get a new code for the new mage with which you can level :)

So all in all its a game where you can individually combine ur own spells of a type of magic, spells will be mostly SKILLSHOTS, no target abilities.
The looks of your mage can be bought for wood which you get after each battle, (im not sure if i would make it like: buy clothes on a standart model, or just get other model of the unit)

Sorry for my bad english grammar, didnt really look it trough ^^

Anyone interested? I think it would me a really motivating and challanging game

I will mostly need ppl with triggering skills :)

PS: Linked terrain-work i did for a LOTR mod here (Minas tirith isnt totally finished tho ^^)

I will mostly need ppl with trigger skills

I can help you with coding, I'm good at GUI/MPI/MUI but just very basic knowledge about Jass. (Also, I can help if you have leaking issues)

I can create good skills but I'm not so open-minded so you have to give me ideas :p
