[SD/Modeling] Lord of the Rings models

For my Minas Tirith map I need many custom models:
- Gandalf the White on a horse and at foot
- Aragorn as King and with bow
- Theoden -> only found a Skin
- Eomer
- Eowin
- Faramir with Gondor armour with sword and bow
- Grond (I have a big ram but it doesn't look like it)
- Orcs: Orc Archers, Orc soldiers, Warg riders (currently I am using standard models which are darker)
- Gondor soldier and archer model like from the movie.
- Rider statue like from the movie behind the gate
- Minas Tirith gate/more doodads than the towers and walls which are already there.
- Gondor Banner
- Mordor banner (although I don't know really the logo they have in the movie).
- Orc trolls/orc trolls with drums
- Gothmog
- Gollum
- Kankra
- Pippin with Gondor armour
- Merry with Rohan armour
- Mouth of Sauron
- pirate ships (from the movie)
- Army of the Dead
- Denethor

I am already using Warcraft models for everything but maybe I overlooked some custom models on this page or some others. If there are no custom models, I will have to use Warcraft's models.

Interesting. Is there any reason why many of the models are not uploaded on Hive and what's the project/map they are from and is it available in English?

I have no idea; I just know the link was posted in another request thread last week.

Amazing stuff but some models are still missing:

• Denethor
• Faramir with Gondor armour
• Rider statue
• Pippin with Gondor armour
• Merry with Rohan armour
  
• Denethor
• Army of the Dead
• Gandalf the White on his horse
• Horses as standalone models
  
• Gate of Minas Tirith with an alternate stand animation etc.
• More walls of Minas Tirith

These resources will massively improve my map. However, I can only give credit to the website because I cannot find any author names.
It's sad that these resources are not on Hive and also that the maps are not English. There seems to be lots of great Lord of the Rings maps in Russian.

There are some issues with the models:

• Grond's model has no attack or death animation
• The Siege Tower has no death animation
• The horse texture doesn't work for Riders of Rohan
• Some icons do not look that good (Dark Rangers and Knights etc.) The warg icon etc. aren't that great as well. You cannot really tell it is a warg rider.

I am glad that I have these models now but I hope they will improve them. For the icons I can create them by myself using pictures from the movie.
