Looking for software/gear.

Hello, I'm looking for software and the gear that will allow me to remote control planes from my computer
(eg: I have a plane out side and I use my laptop as the controller).

I googled it but gave up after the first page X).

When you say planes, do you mean like a 747? I hope not! Whatevah, have you checked if this is even possible? Did you consult your plane's manual?

I know it's possible, because I've seen it (not with 747, but with small planes).
You need a joystick and a transmitter and some software 'n stuff.

I know such thing is possible, but the plane itself needs to support remote control. Again, I advise you to read your plane's manual to check if it's possible. The thing is, those kind of applications are very specific and usually only work for a specific plane. Try searching for software for your plane's model.

Did you not read the part that he said he controls it from his laptop....?

I would assume you use the same software that you got for your laptop...?
